Product Size: qty 4/1, about 5.5" length
Product Description: Fully steam cooked, not smoked,
white in color, pork and veal, mild in flavor with a
hint of lemon and marjoram, in a pork casing, medium
coarse texture.
Product History: German immigrants began settling
in the Sheboygan, Wisconsin area
over 150 years ago and brought with them their sausage
making traditions. This sausage differs from the
traditional German bratwurst in that the grind is coarse
instead of fine.
Cooking Suggestions:
Grill or pan fry these Alpine Brand Bratwurst about five
minutes on each side or until brown.
Serving suggestion: Serve with braised red
cabbage, sauerkraut, or German potato salad
and enjoy a quintessential German treat. |
