German Wiener

Product Size: qty 5/1, about 10" length

Product Description: Fully steam cooked, lightly smoked, reddish in color,
pork, beef and veal, mild in flavor with a hint of paprika and garlic, in a sheep casing,
semi soft texture.

Product History: Around 1800, a butcher from Frankfurt moved to Vienna and started
making this sausage with the crunchy bite. Ever since, this sausage is known as the Wiener.

Cooking Suggestions:
Best when just simmered in a little bit of water for 10 minutes, perfect for a snack,
most popular with children.

Serving suggestion: They are delicious dipped in German spicy mustard and enjoyed.
