Bratwurst

Product Size: qty 4/1, about 5.5" length
Product Description: Fully steam cooked, not smoked,
white in color, pork and veal, mild in flavor in a pork
casing, semi soft texture.
Product History: Bratwurst is considered the
original German sausage and has been around
for many generations. "Brat" meaning emulsified meat, "wurst"
meaning sausage.
Cooking Suggestions:
On the Grill: Grill about 6 minutes on high
turning after 3 minutes, lower temp to medium
heat, grill for 6 more minutes turning frequently.
Panfry: SautÈ in vegetable oil for 10 -12
minutes turning frequently until golden brown.
Serving suggestion: Best served with a German hot
or medium hot mustard, Alpine Brand Sauerkraut and German
potato salad. |
