Bockwurst with Chives

Product Size: qty 7/1, about 7" length

Product Description: Fully steam cooked, not smoked, white in color, pork and veal with chives, mild in flavor in a sheep casing, semi soft texture.

Product History: The legend has it that the Bockwurst originated in Einbeck, Lower Saxony because of the famous "Ainbockisch Beer." The Bockwurst, a tender, juicy boiled sausage, was often served along side the beer.

Cooking Suggestions:
These delicious little sausages are best simmered or sautÈed in a little vegetable oil for
about 5 min on each side or until crisp.

Serving suggestion: Best served with a German hot or medium hot mustard, sauerkraut
and German potato salad.
