Beef Frankfurter

Product Description: Fully steam cooked, lightly smoked, brownish in color, 100% beef, mild in flavor with a hint of allspice and mustard, in a sheep casing, smooth texture.

Product History: Named after the town of Frankfurt am Main in Germany. Ironically, this sausage is called a frankfurter everywhere except for the city of Frankfurt, where it is called a Wiener.

Cooking Suggestions: Best when just simmered in a little bit of water for 10 minutes, perfect for a snack, most popular with children.

Serving suggestion: Also called a hot dog, it is all beef and its full, mild flavor makes
it a favorite for all ages.
